Meet Joe McGonigal
With over 25 years of experience in the dental industry, Joe McGonigal brings a broad and informed perspective to practice transitions. At DDSmatch, Joe focuses exclusively on representing dental practice owners in sell-side transitions. Joe works closely with general dentists and specialists—ranging from solo practitioners to multi-location group owners—to help them transition their practices on their own terms. Joe’s approach is consultative and built on a commitment to high standards, personalized strategy, and long-term outcomes that benefit both the seller and the continuity of patient care. Whether navigating a private doctor-to-doctor sale or a transaction involving a larger group or DSO, Joe guides clients through every stage of the process with clarity, professionalism, and an understanding of what’s at stake—not just financially, but personally and professionally.
Meet Bill Coates
Bill Coates has been working closely with dental practices, hospitals, and universities for the last 17 years with various roles in distribution and manufacturing in the northeast corridor from Delaware to Massachusetts. Bill spent 7 years with Midmark Corporation, helping dentists remodel their practices from infection control compliance to practice design and efficiency. He has a deep understanding of dental office layout, equipment, and practice operations. His experience includes managing a 13 million P & L statement with Patterson Dental and 25 direct reports.
Meet Kevin McGonigal
Kevin McGonigal brings 20 years of valuable dental industry experience to DDSmatch. In his previous roles, Kevin worked for Patterson Dental as a CEREC and equipment specialist. In that time, Kevin helped build out over 250 practices and is known for his ability to evaluate issues and solve problems in a creative way. Kevin has spent his career helping practice owners realize their vision for success through careful planning, and the adoption of new equipment and technology. Kevin’s experience with new and established practice owners provides a unique perspective to help doctors in every stage of their dental career. In addition, Kevin holds a PA Real Estate license to better serve his
clients. He works with clients in the Greater Philadelphia area, New Jersey, CT, and Western MA. Kevin lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and enjoys playing guitar, working on his farm, and spending time with family.

The Green options are more suited for current practice owners, while the Orange options are more suited for Buyers or those looking to find associate placement.

FILL OUT THE BRIEF SIGNUP FORM
Depending on your selection from Step 1, you’ll be directed to a brief form asking for basic information to get your account set up so you can request information on practices or candidates. This step will grant you full access to the site. If you’re a buyer or associate, you’ll have an opportunity after submitting this form to create a public-facing profile that will show up in the Buyers section of the site.

Once you’ve submitted the signup form, your account will be created & you will be signed in automatically.
